All About Chan-ukah

What is Chan-ukah?

Chan-ukah is the festival of fights. It is an annual celebration of friends, family, and the films of Jackie Chan.

When is Chan-ukah?

Chan-ukah begins at sundown on the first Friday of December and continues until sunrise on the second Saturday of December.

How do you Chan-ukah?

There is only one major tradition that must be observed in order to keep Chan-ukah. On each night during Chan-ukah you must watch at least one Jackie Chan film. There are several other traditions and you’re welcome to observe and adapt them as you like. This is a young holiday and is still evolving, so some traditions may fall away and be replaced by new ones.

Why Chan-ukah?

Chan-ukah began as a joke between friends in December of 2012 but somehow found a home in the heart of a man who loves Jackie Chan and winter holidays perhaps a bit too much. He’s been keeping Chan-ukah each year with his family and just wanted to share the fun with the whole world.
